Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) January 16, 2012
Dave Scriven-Young, a Chicago environmental attorney at Peckar & Abramson, P.C., was recently selected as a “Rising Star” in environmental law by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine. “I would like to thank Illinois Super Lawyers for naming me a ‘Rising Star’ for 2012,” said Scriven-Young. “Particularly, I am honored to be one of only three attorneys named as a ‘Rising Star’ in the environmental law category.” This is the second year in a row that Scriven-Young was selected as a “Rising Star”.
According to the Super Lawyers’ website, “Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.”
Super Lawyers launched Rising Stars “to recognize the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state — those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.” No more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list.
Scriven-Young regularly speaks and publishes on environmental legal issues. He is next scheduled to present a webinar on January 24th entitled “Environmental Hot Topics for 2012″.
