  • Federal Appeals Court Denies Additional Immediate Relief Requested by States in Asian Carp Case

    A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit recently issued an opinion in the federal Asian carp case, Michigan v. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Case No. 10-3891.     Today, Representative Dave Camp (R-Michigan) offered an amendment to the House budget bill that would have closed locks to prevent infiltration of the Asian carp into the Great Lakes.
